Failure to Screen Checked Luggage

"At least 27 TSA officers on the morning shift in Honolulu’s Lobby 4 are accused of not properly searching checked baggage before it was loaded on planes, sources said." Apparently this went on for months.

Ticketed Passengers Only Beyond This Point

It seems like the TSA has been screwing up ever more frequently of late. I don't know if this is because they actually have been (meaning they used to be better) or because more attention is being paid to their screwups (meaning they were never any good). In any case, now that TSA Fail seems to have gone silent, I decided to keep track myself of the TSA's various failures of responsibility and lies to the public. Mostly I shall let the accumulated incidents speak for themselves. But reports of particularly egregious arrogations of authority (individual or organizational) may also be posted. And for now, at least, I shall only post corroborated news reports.
